I have successfully run a small marquee hire business for 25 years in South West London. Due to my husband becoming unwell, I have now decided to retire and sell the stock (6 x 4.5mx3m mini marquees plus accessories - see Inventory).

The domain (londongardenmarquees.co.uk) registered in 2009 - is also for sale. Although I have been not been responding to enquiries or updating the website for 18 months, the website still generates enquiries every week. The website ranks No.1 on Google for the search term "London Garden Marquees" and many other search terms, If the website is updated it would greatly improve the Google ranking and number of enquiries (older established websites rank better in Google searches).

The business has been largely run on a part-time basis to fit around family commitments; this set up could be continued. However, there is significant potential for a budding entrepreneur to take the business to the next level; by expanding the geographical zone covered eg North London, (I mainly concentrated on SW London) adding alternative colour options to the inventory, providing additional services and improving online presence (eg Instagram and Facebook).
