As my partner and I have decided to move counties, we have made the difficult choice to sell our marquee hire business with two marquees, 80m squared of Rola Trac flooring and the website which has had a huge amount of work put into it.

The two marquees are a 12m by 9m Trapeze Marquee and an 8m by 4m Traditional Marquee. The Trapeze marquee is a very trendy marquee capable of seating up to 90 guests, they are quick and easy to erect and can be joined side by side or end to end to make bigger spaces. The Trapeze is made in the US by Tentnology and is much better engineered than the similar Capri and Espree marquees. The traditional marquee is great for smaller events, and we have also used it on a few occasions as a catering tent for customers.

My partner and I started Eventspad at the end of 2021 with our first season last summer. The season exceeded our expectations with a turnover of nearly £11000. The business has huge room for growth, every time we get a booking, customers request table, chairs, cutlery and décor from us, currently we outsource this to other suppliers, however, it would be very easy (and quite cheap) to purchase the table and chairs and offer it directly. There is also room for more Trapeze marquees as in peak season last year we had to turn away several bookings as we did not have a second marquee.

The buyer will get all our booking for 2023 (currently worth about £2000) and I will be more than happy to offer training and support with the website if required as I am a web developer. The website ranks amazingly well on google and pulls in most of the customers. The fully automated booking system on the website tracks inventory of the marquees to block them out when they are booked and allows customers to place orders online and choose between different payment options.
