Located between Stroud, Cheltenham, and Cirencester this business provides a comprehensive service to clients in Gloucestershire and neighbouring counties.

The business supplies both Traditional Marquees made by Weatherill Bros. and Matrix tents imported from Tentnology in Canada.

We mostly supply tents for weddings and private parties but also have a number of festivals returning each year. The company is running with an annual turnover in the region of £400k ex VAT and an order book building for 2025.

The current owner started the business in 2002. It has grown steadily over the years. He is now selling to retire at the end of the 2025 season but will take an active part in the transition to new ownership to ensure the success of events currently booked and yet to be added.

The company has an excellent reputation, a comprehensive website and SOP systems in place The company’s assets include the marquees (13 traditionals and 36 Chinese hats) and all the flooring, furniture, heating, lighting, power supplies and accessories to fully equip a number of large weddings each weekend. Shelving and warehouse equipment together with vehicles (three @ 3.5 and one at 7.5 tonne) are available but warehouse and office are not included.

The storage space currently occupied is around 400m² and at peak season we typically have 12 crew on our books. This achieves a gross profit in the region of £120k and net around £30k.

The intention is to sell the active business as a whole but there may be an opportunity to divide the business into the two marquee types. A comprehensive stock list will be made available to interested parties. Individual items will not be sold separately.
