I am looking at a couple of options here as retirement age is looming!

Either a straight forward sale at circa £300K

OR
A deposit down and payment over 2-3 years to give someone the chance to take over and pay from earnings.

Established 24 years ago.

we have huge stocks of backdrops and related props for over 40 themes. Plus draping, lighting etc.

We have a large inexpensive storage facility in Reading, Berkshire that could be part of the deal if required.

Has been run more as a side line business since 2009 due to family issues but has massive potential for someone who is SEO and social media savvy to really get the name out there.

There is no reason why the business couldn't be turning over £200,000 per year again and bear in mind that everything is on the shelf so huge margins!

All the hard work investing in stock and inventory has been done at a huge cost over the years so this is now a great business with massive potential. I'm looking to be more "hands off" these days so a sale would be ideal but would also consider bringing in a partner or allowing an existing event hire business take over and work out a profit share on that basis.

I'm open to ideas! 2022 turnover was around £80,000 as still very quiet post Covid but things are improving and there is great potential ahead.
